Here’s the thing about joy: it’s everywhere, and it’s ours for the taking. We can choose joy, find it, be in it, and live in it whenever we want. No matter what situation we are facing in life, we can find joy in it. John 10:10 states that Jesus came to give us life and to give it to us more abundantly! That’s not a ho-hum kind of existence. It’s a freedom and extravagant-joy kind of living.
I had an absolute blast writing More Jesus More Joy 365. Searching the Bible and my life for acts of joy was such a blessing to me. I didn’t want the experience to end, as God handpicked the 365 that He wants to share with you. Through this process I accumulated so much joy that I have it bankrolled and can spend it whenever I want. I want to spend it, live in, love in, and share that joy daily with you. Let’s go on a God-filled adventure together as He shows us the joys of His heart.
This journey to discover joy is a 365-day daily devotional to join the believers of Jesus together. Join in the community of joy by posting and following the daily devo hashtags on social media. Each day has an individual daily hashtag for that day’s activity. We can find joy in our activity and also find joy in each other’s day. Attach the daily hashtag to your post, and you can use upper or lower case letters in the hashtag. I used a mix of both to make it easier to read. Each day will have a new joy for you to explore and express. Your expression can be in any form; share in pictures, words, thoughts, music, poetry, memes, doodles, paints, pens, markers, or any medium that brings your heart joy.
Post your interactive joy expressions daily on social media, so we can all be a part of something bigger than we are. Also, tag us or post on the Jesus Freak Apparel Facebook page @RecoveringSinner, click on the community group, More Jesus More Joy 365. We can all take joy knowing that Jesus in Heaven will be having a blast watching our answers and expressing our love for Him. He will be watching over our community and guiding us in growing strong and loving one another like He has asked us to do. Let’s go discover all of the joys Jesus so freely gives us!
